Gratitude

If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice.
~Meister Eckhart

Gratitude is the memory of the heart. ~Jean Baptiste

The only people with whom you should try to get even are those who have helped you.
~John E. Southard

The unthankful heart... discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings!
~Henry Ward Beecher

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.
~Thornton Wilder

There is not a more pleasing exercise of the mind than gratitude. It is accompanied with such an inward satisfaction that the duty is sufficiently rewarded by the performance.
~Joseph Addison

Gratitude is a feeling of appreciation and thankfulness for blessings or benefits we have received. As we cultivate a grateful attitude, we are more likely to be happy and spiritually strong. We should regularly express our gratitude to God for the blessings He gives us and to others for the kind acts they do for us.

Filled With All The Fullness Of God

"We cannot give love or strength that we do not ourselves have. So if we expect to clothe ourselves with the bond of charity- if we hope to bless others with God's truths and compassion and sustenance- then we must spend time with God in a very direct way. We do not have to rely on anyone else's witness of the Father. We can have direct encounters of our own. As Paul told the Ephesians, we can literally be 'filled with all the fullness of God'. Those encounters can fill and refill our cups every day of our lives."

"A Quiet Heart." Patricia T. Holland

Trust

Trust in the Lord, and do good, so shalt thou dwell in the land,
and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord, and
He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Psalms 37: 3&4

I Love to See The Temple!

Manti Temple

“Look at what we built with our own hands. We had no power equipment. No contractors or subcontractors were involved in the construction, no fancy cranes to lift up the heavy stones. We performed this labor under our own power.”

"May we all learn both of the important lessons taught by the shipbuilders from Norway who constructed the roof of the Manti Temple. First is the lesson of using the principles and truths of the past to help us face the future. Second, we learn from their desire to share what they knew with others to help build the kingdom of God. This second lesson, if we learn it well, will help many others of our brothers and sisters, fellow sons and daughters of God, face an uncertain future with the same eternal assurances we have."

"The past way of facing the future".
Elder L. Tom Perry

This is my favorite temple. I can't wait for the day, when I get to be sealed to my eternal companion within it's beautiful walls!

Sisters, We Are In This Together!

"We are all in this together. We need each other. Oh, how we need each other. Those of us who are old need you who are young. And, Hopefully, you who are young need some of us who are old. It is a sociological fact that women need women. We need deep and satisfying and loyal friendships with each other. These friendships are a necessary source of sustenance. We need to renew our faith every day. We need to lock arms and help build the kingdom so that it will roll forth and fill the whole earth. "

~Sister Hinckley.

As Sisters in Zion, we'll all work together; The blessings of God on our labors we'll seek.
We'll build up his kingdom with earnest endeavor; We'll comfort the weary and strengthen the weak.
